River rock Recreation campsite

River Rock Recreation is located around mile marker 13 on the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail, at the Kings Road access point, about one mile south of the trail's end point at the Falmouth boat launch. The trail runs parallel to the campsite, which provides the perfect pathway to local adventures!

The trail provides opportunity to explore when staying at River Rock Recreation campsite. Follow the trail to Chickies Rock State Park for the day! Not feeling up to a long hike? Pennsylvania's first edible forest open to the public is located within the last mile on the trail, just north of the campsite. River front park is a great middle point on the trail. Shocks mill bridge and the White Cliffs of Conoy found in that area and are great stops along the way! You will also find a bald eagle viewing point and history markers on your trek, they will point out specific features or give interesting local information.

Don't miss out on all the trail has too offer during your stay!
