River Rock Recreation is a primitive campsite with amenities to make your stay functional, comfortable and convenient to set up. You will be dry camping with no hook ups, so you can expect a rustic experience overall. The camp kitchen area allows for efficient food storage and a meal preparation space during your stay. Whether you want to use the grill or cook over the fire, the covered kitchen area will help make your meal duties at camp a breeze. When it comes to getting cleaned up, the solar shower bag compatible camp shower gives you a space to rinse off and clean up in privacy.

What to Expect AT River ROck Recreation Campsite

Choosing a campground can be a daunting task. There are many factors to consider when choosing a campsite. Every night at River Rock Recreation includes all tent areas; 2 river front, 10'x12' wood deck tent pads, 2 river side, organic ground tent pads & 1 wooded, 20'x24' wood deck tent pad. Free reign of the entire 2 acre campsite, all listed amenities, one bundle of firewood and hammock rentals.
Size Matters. The bigger the campground the more campsites you will find. At River Rock Recreation that is not our aim. A single campsite creates the seclusion a larger campground simply can not provide.
Camping is for Everyone. Camping means something different to everyone, at River Rock Recreation it's all about you. A primitive campsite promotes an experience immersed in nature. Keeping it simple with a blend of what’s desirable and necessary, calls to all skill levels and styles of camping. Additional amenities can be added to your reservation to enhance your camping experience! It’s not the case of less amenities, here it’s more nature.
Location. Location. Location. A Susquehanna river front campsite provides beautiful scenery and striking sunsets for your viewing pleasure. Hideaway in nature's seclusion, you can relax and hang on a hammock all day. Utilize the direct access to the 14 mile Northwest Lancaster County River Trail and river recreation opportunities right outside your tent. River Rock Recreation campsite can be a multi-use hideaway or a recreational highway, the choice is yours!
History & Nature. With a historically rich area, there is much to explore! A scenic landscape invites visitors to investigate and see more. We are used to primitive tent camping and all of the added structures, such as the kitchen, really added some convince to the space. The owners were also very friendly and accommodating. They truly want their guests to have the best experience possible. We will be booking again for sure!"
