A lot has changed since our parents first took us camping.
​There are more styles, gear, and camping options available then they could have ever imagined! One thing that has hasn't changed, is the want to get back to nature. However, with throngs of people venturing outdoors; crowded campgrounds make it hard to achieve that feeling.

A traditional campground isn't right for everyone, so we decided to try something new. Our primitive campsite promotes an experience immersed in nature. Keeping it simple with a blend of what’s desirable and necessary, calls to all skill levels and styles of camping. Additional amenities can be added to your reservation to enhance your camping experience! 

​It’s not the case of less amenities, here it’s more nature.

Whatever your style of camping is River Rock Recreation Campsite will do their best to accommodate you.  Whether you live the van life, kick it old school in a tent, do it big time in a pop-up or like to sleep in the trees, we’ve got a spot for you.
